Scholarship Program

The Franklin Center for Global Policy Exchange provides a strong scholarship program which helps promote and educate the leaders of the next generation. This is especially important during this time in history, as many of America's economic and security challenges as a world leader involve complex international issues. We have an obligation to ensure that tomorrow's policymakers are just as prepared as those who currently serve.

Clinger Scholarship
The William F. Clinger Jr. Scholarship program helps educate future leaders by enabling an undergraduate student the opportunity to study abroad. The scholarship honors William F. Clinger, Jr. (R-PA) who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1979 to 1997 and as a past Chairman of our organization. Offered to an undergraduate student at the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University, this scholarship requires an independent research project as part of this Franklin Center Clinger Scholarship

“The William F. Clinger Fellowship provided me with the opportunity to realize my dream of spending my junior year abroad, to live with and meet some amazing people, to increase my knowledge and understanding of Germany and its culture and to research an exciting issue that will only become more important in the future. I hope it continues to support undergraduates studying abroad for years to come so they too can have a once in a lifetime experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
